This is an Open source controller adapter designed by Ryzee119. It plugs into the Original Xbox on all four controller ports and allows for more modern and common controllers to be used on the system. It's compatible with USB devices such as The Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless PC receiver, 8bitdo Bluetooth receivers, ChronusMax, and most wired (xinput) controllers of all Xbox generations. This device is an absolute "MUST OWN" for any fan of the Original Xbox. It really brings the ease and quality of today's wired & wireless controllers to the best generation of gaming to ever exist, with a very wide array of different controllers. The 8bitdo receiver alone is compatible with several controllers from other systems but there is also 8bitdo's own lineup of modern & retro controllers that work as well.

Features
  • Here is a demo video, from the creator, showing some of the OGX360's feature.
  • Low level programming with minimal input lag. Less than 4ms over an original controller. Here is a demo video.
  • Full rumble support on all controllers.
  • Works with Stock, Soft-mod, and Hard-mod Xboxes. It also works with Xenium and Xecuter 3 chip menus.
  • One OGX360 unit can be used on multiple boxes as long as the Master Arduino (Arduino #1) has power. (See pic)
  • Steel Battalion controller support with an Xbox 360 Chatpad using Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers. Here is a demo video.
  • Flip the axis on the right stick for those games missing axis inversion settings. (Hold the right stick in then D-PAD to invert that direction).
  • The case is 3d printed in PETG, sliced on PrusaSlicer, on 3 Anet ET4's running on Marlin 2, with dual drive extruders, and dual Z step motors. The case features a custom gel dome sticker on the top and genuine Original Xbox feet on the bottom.
  • The USB ports on Arduino's are known to have weak solder joints that can cause them to break easily. The manufacturer doesn't put enough solder on the pads to hold it properly. I make sure to add some solder to reinforce them and that does help a lot in preventing them from coming off the board so easily.  It's always best to take caution with these Arduino's and be easy on them though. If it should happen to break, please contact me as I do repairs on OGX360's. (Shipping, Parts, & Labor charges apply for repair & update services. Message me to get repair services set up.)

Customer Review

***Note - The information in this video is mostly good. He does mention having to plug all of them in and this wrong. Port/Arduino #1 is the one that provides power to the OGX360 board. He also mentions different firmware for different functionality and this is outdated. All compatibility falls under one firmware with the newest release.
