Service Setup & Procedure

This page is a collection of the Send-In Services that I offer. These are not items that you can add to a cart and checkout because they arent physical items that can be shipped. These listing are installation services that will be added to a draft invoice during our preliminary service consultation.

Your parts will be reserved when we make a plan, put the draft invoice together, and set your project in motion. I DO NOT activate the invoice and bill it until the work is complete and the item is ready to be returned. This ensures proper shipping information is added to the final bill.

You are responsible for your shipping cost to send your parts to my shop. Please pack your items well as I will use the same packing material you send to me to return it to you. If you do not have any ESD bags, it's highly advised to purchase them before shipping your sensitive electronic parts out to me. If you fail to pack sensitive parts with ESD protection, I will not be responsible for damage due to negligence in shipping. If you don't protect your parts and they arent damaged in shipping, ESD bags will be added to the invoice and used for the return trip. I cannot, in good faith, return sensitive parts in an unprotected manner.

Turnaround times will depend on the current workload in the shop and will be determined in the consultation you have with me.

After the services are completed and the work is well tested, your items will be packed up and the return shipping details will be applied to your draft invoice. If you don't want to make any changes or add anything, I will then complete the draft, change its status to an active invoice, and email it to you. You will have 30 days from the time the invoice is activated to pay the invoice. If you fail to pay the invoice or communicate good reasons for such a long delay to me your items could be marked as abandoned and I reserve the right to sell abandoned items to recover the outstanding balance owed on the open invoice.

Upon successful payment of the invoice, my regular "shipping and handling processing time" policy will be what you should expect for processing the return of your serviced items.
