LED Jewel Light

This Board is designed to fit into the top of the case. It snaps onto the existing mounting holes and will illuminate a custom or cleared jewel.

If you're populating your own light ring and you don't know what value resistor to use, this RESISTOR CALCULATOR will help you find the correct value that you should use. It gives a higher and lower value. I usually take the higher value to help protect the LED's and make them last longer. The lower value will make them brighter but will also contribute to a shorter lifespan.

• The supply voltage will be 12v.
• An LED's current will be 20mA.
• The voltage drop varies from manufacturer to manufacturer so please see the datasheet on the LED's you purchase for this value.This site provides generic values but it's best to see the datasheet on your LED's
  
• On this board, each LED has its own resistor so the number of LED's will be 1.
