IDE Cables - 40 and 80 wire

Here are 2 different types of IDE cables for the Original Xbox. 

40 wire IDE cables
These cables are USED.
They come out of OG Xbox consoles.

80 wire Ultra-IDE cables
These cables are BRAND NEW in package. 
They're high quality.
They're custom made to be a perfect match for OG Xbox consoles.
They're the same length and have the same plug orientation.
Approximate Length: 22.5 inches (57cm)

Why upgrade your IDE cable from 40 wires to 80 wires?
SPEED: The 80 wire cable has a ground wire between each signal wire to minimize and prevent crosstalk between the signal wires. This isolation (shielding) of the signal wires provides faster and more accurate transfer of data.
UPGRADABILITY: If you're upgrading your hard drive from an IDE hard drive to a SATA hard drive or solid state drive, you'll have to use an IDE to SATA adapter. These adapters don't work very well with the OEM 40 wire IDE cables and in some cases they won't work at all with them. 
The IDE to SD & Micro SD adapters also require 80 wire Ultra-IDE cables to function properly.
